Based on the belief that there are many areas in our industry, which benefit from pre-competitive networking, we provide the Future of Retail (#FOR) Meetings for the EOG’s retail members. #FOR offers the opportunity to meet peers from other companies regularly and debate the topics from a retail perspective.
Within the EOG as a whole, the group of retailers is a common voice for retail affairs, established for and further developed by the leading outdoor retailers from across Europe. We aim to be ahead of the market by sharing insights and pooling strengths, to support the members as they adapt to the changes/circumstances that they face in the retail environment of the 21st Century. With this in mind, participating in the EOG’s market research projects is an obligatory part of #FOR, as well as being engaged in the EOG Sustainability Council through its retail representative.
The #FOR group meets twice per year in-person, At ISPO Munich and at OutDoor by ISPO.
