EOS 2022 - registration now open and agenda update
Delegate registration for the European Outdoor Summit (EOS), which takes place on the 6th October at the Impérial Palace in Annecy, France, is now open.
The early bird rate is currently available until 30th June, so now is the time to book your delegate place: HERE.
Members of the European Outdoor Group (EOG) and Outdoor Sports Valley (OSV) will also get an extra discounted rate, and for the first time we have a two ticket bundle discount to encourage the attendance of more senior managers and especially targeting CSR, sustainability and product managers, who would all benefit from this year’s summit topics.
The overall content of the summit is being developed under the heading ‘Finding Balance and Success Within Disorder’ and will focus on how order and chaos can work together towards creating a greater balance in our lives, our work, and the planet.
The agenda reflects the current climate and challenges that we are all facing and we are pleased to share just some of the topics on the agenda so far:
Policy as a Driver for Change /Fashion 2025 – The Year Physical Clothing Becomes Obsolete / Diversity in the Outdoors/ Adapting Supply Chains to Risks in a Volatile Global Economy / Introduction to Retail CSR / The New C-Suite – Management Structures in Transformation / The Business of Climate Change / Circularity / The Need for Real Time Market Data for the Outdoor Sector / Evolving Human Rights Challenges
Our speakers are experts in their fields and the presentations will not only encourage debate, but inform, educate, and inspire delegates to work together as an industry, to make the changes necessary to be successful, sustainable, and competitive in the future.
The EOS would not happen without the support of our sponsors, so we are delighted to announce that Gore-Tex, the leading waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane manufacturer has signed up as a Major Sponsor, continuing its longstanding support for the summit.
Matthias Zaggl, business leader, W. L. Gore & Associates., comments:
"The European Outdoor Summit provides the ideal forum for us all to reconnect, so that we can address the key issues and factors that affect our region and markets. It will be a long overdue opportunity to meet again, engage and discuss the topics that are impacting our collective businesses, the environment, the weather, economic factors, and sustainability issues. At W. L. Gore & Associates, we believe that coming together as an industry to focus on these issues is a great way to ensure the future health of our businesses and the well-being of our end consumers. We look forward to seeing you in Annecy this October.”
Offering excellent value for money, the EOS is for senior executives. The ticket price includes a full two-day programme of speakers, lunch and refreshments on both days, activities, and a networking evening. An 'early bird' delegate place costs just €600 + VAT @ 20% for EOG and OSV members and €700 + VAT @ 20% for non-members. The two-ticket bundle has a saving of €200 respectively.
(please note that you can only purchase a single ticket type per transaction)
